Artist Bio:

Aileen Der Avanessian is a Los Angeles -based artist specializing in non-representational art. Her unique approach to abstract forms and her mastery of intricate detailing have earned her recognition in various esteemed art circles. 

With a passion for pushing the boundaries of visual expression she creates both drawings, paintings , murals and sculptures. That transcend conventional representations , inviting viewers to engage with the underlying emotions and concepts embodied in her work. Her artistic journey began with deep fascination for abstract expressionism which she pursued through a formal education in fine arts, culminating in a BA degree in Art History from Cale State Northridge . 

One of her most notable achievements is the selection of her sculpture derived from her distinctive drawing style for the prestigious Northridge Student Art Gallery. This milestone highlighted her ability to translate her intricate two- dimensional work into compelling three- dimensional forms , showcasing her versality as an artist. 

In addition to this accolade , her work has been recognized by the broader art community . Her piece received an honorable mention at the Ten Moir Gallery , reflecting the profound impact of her abstract creations. Furthermore, her artwork was selected by a jury for inclusion in the Burbank Art Association’s exhibition at the Geo Gallery , understanding her growing influence and the critical acclaim of her innovative approach.
